The CQCLC provides a duty lawyer service in relation to domestic violence matters in Rockhampton, Gladstone and Yeppoon Magistrates Court.
The CQCLC is available at the Magistrates Court in Rockhampton each Monday, Wednesday and Friday primarily providing advice and assistance to respondents, both men and women, in DV matters.
The CQCLC is available at the Magistrates Court in Gladstone on alternate Thursdays primarily providing advice and assistance to aggrieved, both men and women, in DV matters.
The CQCLC is available at the Magistrates Court in Yeppoon on alternate Thursdays primarily providing advice and assistance to aggrieved, both men and women, in DV matters.
To access the Domestic & Family Violence Duty Lawyer Service in the Magistrates Court in Rockhampton, Gladstone or Yeppoon, simply approach the Court Support Services on the day. No appointment is necessary. However, if you are wanting advice before your Court date, you are welcome to make an appointment at one of our offices, whether you be an aggrieved or a respondent.
